Work-Based Learning Opportunities
Grades 11-12
Prerequisite: Application and interview with Work-Based Learning Coordinator, Mrs. Blouin
Work-Based Learning opportunities are available for students interested in acquiring work experience and training with a business person through part-time employment. Students receive school credit plus pay. Co-op students must be concurrently enrolled in a job-related course. Internship students must have completed one year (1.0 credit) of a job-related course. Apprenticeship students must make a two-year commitment to the program.Co-op and Internships, paid and unpaid, are available for all areas of study within the Business and Technology Department. Opportunities include working in school offices as well as outside of the school building. See Mrs. Blouin, Work-Based Learning Coordinator, in Room B6A for more information and an application.
Business Procedures Intern
Prerequisite: Business Procedures
Students serve in an internship at the school in selected office sites with supervised and evaluated, unpaid work tied to the Business Procedures curriculum. Application required—see Mrs. Blouin in Room B6A.
