Online Math Tutorials Available
 
Need extra help in Integrated Algebra or Accelerated Integrated Algebra? If so, see your classroom teacher to request an application for online tutorials offered by Gwinnett County Public Schools. The fee is $10 and the deadline for enrollment is October 21, 2009. Please call Faye Jones, Associate Principal for Curriculum at 770-978-5081 if you have questions.


 

Purchasing a Graphing Calculators (Please click here for information on Calculator Rental).

The following are suggustions made by the math department in purchasing a graphing calculator.

It is imperative that every student in Alegbra II or above have access to a graphing calculator in the classroom, as well as at home.

We recommend the Texas Instrument 83 or 84 (any version). If your student is interested in taking a statistic course in the future the TI-84 would be a better choice.

TI-92 are not allowed in any classes.
TI-89 are allowed in Calculus classes only.
TI-85 & 86 are OK but not as user friendly.
