Everybody is curious. I decided to explore my curiosity and earn a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Howard University then a Ph.D. in physical chemistry from Northwestern University in 1996. From there I decided to teach college, then moved to high school where I have had fun sharing what I have found. I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio where I grew up eating Cincinnati chili and watching the Bengals and Reds play ball. My idea about teaching is to have fun, explore, get your hands dirty and learn something along the way. Learning how the world works is my passion and I teach my students how to enjoy the world around them.
