Dissecting the frog in 7th grade started me on my journey for my love of biology! I'm a born and raised native from Tucker, GA. After majoring in biology from Berry College, I taught in Rome, GA for five years while also getting my master's in biology at the University of West Georgia. My marriage to Dr. Kim brought me back to this side of town where I worked at Brookwood teaching biology and anatomy for four years. Since then, we've been blessed to raise three children in this cluster as well as start a family medicine practice about one mile away from BHS! I'm thrilled to be back in my thirteenth year of teaching with my favorite age group at my beloved school! "It's not how much content you cover but how much you UNCOVER" with your students - advice that I model from a wise principal. I'm thankful to be in service and leadership in this incredible community! My interests include family, church, friends, travelling, gardening, and of course, my cat, Kitty Boy & my dog, Bella!
