I love teaching at Brookwood!
I am a native of South Florida (Palm Beach Gardens to be exact). I grew up going to the beach, fishing, snorkeling, surfing, and racing my BMX bike. I love Florida, but Georgia is my home.
I am married to a wonderful (highly supportive) woman named Gail, and I have a teenage son named Wyatt. Wyatt lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico with his mother, but he gets to come visit 3 to 4 times each year.
On most weekends, you can find me riding or racing my dirt bike somewhere in the Southeastern U.S. I ride/race in off-road/woods races called Harescrambles and other longer races called Enduros.
In December of 1996, I graduated from The University of Georgia. Immediately upon graduation I began their Master's of Education program; I graduated with an MEd in May of 1999.
I began my teaching career in 1999 as a middle school teacher. Then, in 2011 after 12 years teaching middle school, I transferred to Brookwood High School. Currently, I teach Advanced Placement Macroeconomics, and Honors Economics.
