Robin Valentine

I have taught Language Arts and Journalism at the high school level since leaving the business world 14 years ago. Most recently, I have extended my professional work though the addition of gifted instruction certification, as well as serving as the BHS newspaper adviser, a curriculum developer for Common Core with LearnZillion, an eClass Lead Innovator, and a Gateway instructor for GCPS. Each of these experiences has afforded me the opportunity to expand my own professional learning to broaden my own educational expertise and perspective to help students of various abilities.

Personally, I am a native Atlantan, living here all of my life!  I also spend a great deal of time enjoying movies, my daily early-morning boot camp, reading, music of all kinds, and time with my husband and three children. Additionally, I have been very involved, because of the impact on close friends and family, with five different 3-Day Breast Cancer walks, Relay for Life,  and Do the Locomotion. I have added the role of grandmother to resume with the recent birth of my grandson Hayden!
